The 2025 Indianapolis 500 is set to run on Sunday, May 25. Last year's race was delayed nearly four hours due to inclement weather, and the weather forecast looked like it could be problematic early in Indy.
There was a 52% chance of rain at noon and that fell slightly to 49% at 1 p.m., per AccuWeather. Once the drivers get past the initial rain, if there is any, it should be smooth sailing. The chance of rain plummets to 2% starting at 2 p.m. ET, and maintains there throughout the entire race.
