"I was suicidal" - Star reveals painful experience while working in WWE 

A star has revealed her painful experiences while working in WWE. The star was released from the promotion earlier this year and recently opened up on how the pressure of being in such a big company affected her.

Former two-time NXT tag team champion and Toxic Attraction member Priscilla Kelly (FKA Gigi Dolin) opened up on the difficult experiences she faced during her time in WWE during an appearance Instinct Culture Podcast.

Talking to Denise Salcedo, Kelly talked about her mental health struggles and the toxic environment she had to battle in the Stamford-based promotion. She discussed the ongoing problems in her family and how she had a difficult childhood.

"So, it was that, on top of just the pressure of WWE is a lot and especially those first two years, like there just was a lot of pressure those first two years because I was new and I had come from the indies. There was a lot that they were trying to, like, beat out of me. And yeah, like, there was definitely stuff going on behind the scenes," she said.

Kelly said that she didn't want to go into details of what happened but said some people weren't nice to her, and it affected her in a big way.

"I don't want to bring it up because I know it'll blow up, and then it'll become a whole thing. But let's just say some people were very, very, very not nice to me, to the point that I was suicidal for a little bit because I was really going through it," she added.

Gigi Dolin was released by WWE earlier this year

Gigi Dolin signed with WWE in 2021 and participated in the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. She was then paired with Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne as part of the Toxic Attraction stable.

Teaming up with Jayne, the Georgia native won the NXT Women's Tag Team championship twice. Following the release of Rose, Jayne and Dolin continued as a team before eventually feuding with each other.

After briefly forming a team with Tatum Paxley, Priscilla Kelly was released by WWE in May this year.
