New England Patriots wideout Stefon Diggs played a key role in helping his team record a 28-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16 on Sunday. Diggs posted 138 yards on nine receptions to help New England get its 12th win of the season and take another step toward winning the AFC East.

However, Diggs had been sent to the blue tent in the first quarter for a concussion test after making a catch and falling on his shoulder. The Patriots WR was able to return to the game, but later opened up on how he escaped the blue tent after being evaluated, simply because of his desire to be on the field.

"I was blacking out, bro," Diggs said after the game. "They were holding me in the tent. They said I had a concussion, but they never touched my head, I never lay on the ground. They monitored me for a concussion. I said, 'I never had a concussion.' I was touching my shoulder, so how y'all say I had a concussion?

"I was fighting with them to get back out there. It was the first drive. I'm wired to get back out there to make plays for my team. We had a little stall ... I apologized to them afterwards, but you can't stop me from being out on the field."

The good news for the Patriots is that Diggs is healthy. He has been a revelation for New England since signing with the team in the offseason, forming an excellent partnership with quarterback Drake Maye.
