"I'm gonna stomp all over him" - Anthony Joshua issues an ice-cold response to Jake Paul's bold fight prediction 

Anthony Joshua recently issued a chilling preview of his upcoming boxing match against Jake Paul next month. The Englishman vowed to brutally dominate Paul in the squared circle after the former Disney star warned him against underestimating his skills as a boxer.

While Paul was initially scheduled to face Gervonta Davis in an exhibition fight at the Kaseya Center in Miami this month, the WBA lightweight champion's recent legal issues forced the promoters to call off the bout. It was later announced that Paul would be facing Joshua in a professional heavyweight fight on Dec.19 in Miami, with the fight being broadcast worldwide by Netflix.

At a pre-fight press conference, Paul issued a daring preview of his fight against Joshua and warned the Englishman against "looking past" him. He said:

"It's a massive mistake to look past this, seriously. I'm putting in a stint in all of those plans; don't book anything. Don't arrange flights or hotels. I'm knocking this guy out, becoming the CEO of Matchroom Boxing, and changing the plans. It's gonna be me vs. Tyson Fury next year."

Joshua issued an ice-cold response to Paul's comments and said:

"If I'm gonna be honest, I'm gonna break his face. I'm gonna break his body up. I'm gonna stomp all over him. That's my mentality, that's a fighter's mentality. I know what's in my heart, and I know what's in my mind. I'm here to compete, I'm here to prove to myself that I'm the better fighter."

Jake Paul has high hopes for his fight against Anthony Joshua and believes he could pick up a massive victory against the former heavyweight world champion. The former Disney star recently shared a bold prediction for his upcoming fight, while admitting that it was the biggest fight of his career.

In a promotional announcement video shared to his socials (via @ChampRDS on X), Paul spoke about the "biggest fight of 2025" and said:

"Make no mistake, this is the biggest fight of my career. I’m walking into the lion’s den. I’m doing something that no one else has ever done before. I, Jake Joseph Paul, will knock out, defeat, and embarrass Anthony Joshua on Friday, Dec. 19, live on Netflix... The biggest fight of 2025. USA vs. the UK. He's got the belts, the size, the history, but I have the b*lls. Be careful what you wish for. Jake vs. Joshua, judgment day."
