'I love spending money' - Nebraska volleyball's Andi Jackson gets real about the best way to relax after a long season

Nebraska Volleyball player Andi Jackson recently revealed the best way to relax after a long season. Jackson is one of the three skippers of the Nebraska Volleyball team alongside teammates Bergen Reilly and Rebekah Allick.

Jackson had a recent interactive session with the 1890 Nebraska channel, which was later uploaded on their Youtube channel. In the conversation , the 20-year-old middle blocker revealed some of her favorite pastimes, as well as her 'retail therapy.'

When Andi Jackson was asked what did she do to relax during the long grind of a season, she cheekily replied,

"I love spending money. I love shopping, so probably.... What is it? Retail therapy." [2:40 onwards]

In a previous press conference with the media, Andi Jackson explained about what she meant when she said that she was not playing 'Andi Jackson Volleyball'. In her words,

"Just someone who plays free, like I said, I was just putting way too much pressure on myself, feeling like I had to prove to everyone who I was, and kind of like I lost in what I was actually playing for, and like the real reason that I love playing volleyball there for a minute," she said. The Nebraska Volleyball team will be competing against the Wisconsin Badgers at the UW Field House in Madison, Wisconsin tonight. The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be aiming to extend their winning streak to 21-0.

Andi Jackson previously talked about the pre-game ritual for the Nebraska Volleyball that made the game exciting. The 20-year-old middle blocker mentioned in the aforementioned conversation with the 1890 Nebraska channel about the team dancing in a circle as she remarked,

"One of my favorite things that we do as a team is we dance in the locker room in a circle before every single game, and that is just one of my most favorite parts of being here. I know it's so cliche, and it seems so minimal, but it just really brings everyone together. Unifies us before the game. Everyone has fun. It honestly warms us up. So then when we go out and warm up, we don't even need it cause we're just sweating in the locker room. But it's just really, really fun, and it gets the vibes going. Makes playing super exciting." Andi Jackson had joined the Nebraska Volleyball team in the 2023 season. She was a part of the Nebraska Cornhuskers squad that qualified for the finals in the 2023 NCAA Championships and for the semifinals in the 2024 NCAA Championships.
