Former UFC champion Jon Jones made another appeal to appear at the 2026 UFC White House card while attending the Dirty Boxing 4 event.

Jones hasn’t fought in the UFC since defeating Stipe Miocic in 2024. While he has been called out by Tom Aspinall for a UFC heavyweight fight, ‘Bones’ chose not to engage with the current champion.

However, the American is more than happy to feature on the White House card. ‘Bones’ is keen to fight Alex Pereira at the event and reiterated his desire to Dana White while speaking to The Schmo:

“I really hope it happens. Dana, bro, please bro, please. I’m training, I feel great, I’m healthy, and I’ll be so honored to represent our country and do what I do best.”

The White House card is part of the America 250 celebrations and will he held on 14 June, 2026. Jones also has an opponent in his mind, the current UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira. ‘Poatan’ recently reclaimed his title from Magomed Ankalaev with an impressive first round win.

‘Bones’ and Pereira seem to have a lot of respect for each other, and it is to be seen if the pair actually headline the White House card.

The fight could take place in the heavyweight class after Jones and Pereira commented on social media.

UFC yet to start matchmaking discussions for White House

While Jon Jones, Conor McGregor and a host of other combat stars have spoken about their desire to feature on this card, UFC president Dana White has come clean and claimed that no fights have been confirmed as of yet.

McGregor had earlier confirmed his discussions with the White House directly and claimed he was fighting on the card. White dispelled all the rumors and added that discussions on who features on the card will only take place from February 2026.

Here’s what White had to say to the media after UFC 320:

“We are still talking about the production and how everything is going to work at the White House. We have not started negotiating any fights for the White House yet, that won’t start until February. Conor wants to fight on that card, and you can clearly see Conor is very fired up to fight on that card. But nothing is done yet, and no fights are being negotiated with the White House.”

The White House event is gearing up to be one of the biggest if not the biggest UFC card, but the promotion has a huge decision to make on who headlines this once-in-a-lifetime outing.
