WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis sent a clear message to Cody Rhodes on the latest edition of the blue brand's show. The American Nightmare reassured Aldis that he understood the message.

Cody Rhodes has been in a heated feud with Drew McIntyre for quite some time. Their rivalry took an ugly turn when The Scottish Warrior assaulted The American Nightmare in the latter's bus backstage, leaving him busted open. The two are all set to face each other for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Three Stages of Hell Match on the January 9, 2026, edition of SmackDown in Berlin, Germany.

Ahead of this much-anticipated clash, Aldis has sent a clear message to Rhodes on this week's blue brand's show. In a backstage segment, the SmackDown GM reminded Cody that his opponent will make an appearance on tonight's show to lay out the stipulation for their Three Stages of Hell Match.

Aldis added that he knew McIntyre would try to get under Rhodes' skin, but the latter should stay calm because if he touches Drew before their match in Berlin, he will be stripped of his title.

"Cody, just want to remind you that Drew is going to be here tonight. He's here to lay out the stipulation for each of your Three Stages of Hell. You and I both know he's going to try to get under your skin; you cannot let that happen. I hate to be a dead horse, but if you touch him before your match in Berlin, you'll forfeit this [the Undisputed WWE Championship]. As your colleague and your friend, I'd hate to see that happen," Aldis said.

Cody Rhodes then reassured Nick Aldis that he won't do anything that would get him in trouble.

"Nick, you don't have to worry. When it comes to this [the title], that's not gonna happen," Cody said.

It remains to be seen what Drew McIntyre has planned for his and Cody Rhodes' Three Stages of Hell Match on January 9.
