Kevin Owens has been one of the bigger attractions of Friday Night SmackDown in the past few years. However, he has been on an in-ring hiatus due to a neck injury ever since March of last year. In a shocking suprise, a huge Owens tease was made on this week's episode of SmackDown.
This week's episode of SmackDown started with a furious Miz interrupting the commentators. Miz addressed his grievances and referred to himself as the locker room leader before being interrupted by the shocking return of Randy Orton. After Orton came out, Miz referred to himself and Randy as locker room leaders collectively.
He stated that they could form a new tag team with the name "Miz-KO" which is a parody of the team of Randy and Kevin Owens which was called "R-KO". The Miz received an RKO out of nowhere following his statement. Randy and Owens were teaming up together before Owens turned heel in the later half of 2024. The two have a long history with each other and were set to face other on last year's WrestleMania before Owens got injured.
Despite the tease, Kevin Owens is still injured and it is not likely that he will make his in-ring return any time soon. Fans are hoping that Owens heals soon and makes his much awaited return to the ring.
