What's better than golf on a gorgeous sunny day? Perhaps playing for an NCAA championship in said conditions.
That's how 156 Division I golfers will be competing in the 2025 NCAA men's golf championships. The event, which takes place at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, begins Friday, May 23 and extends until Wednesday, May 28.
The championships consist of the top five teams and the top individual not on those teams from the six regional brackets. That's 30 teams and six individuals, who will be representing six other schools on their own.
Auburn returns to the 2025 championships looking to defend its 2024 title. Florida, Texas and Pepperdine, winners of the 2023, 2022 and 2021 championships, respectively, are also in play.
