One of the biggest debates in the NBA centers around who the game's greatest player of all time is, with Michael Jordan and LeBron James being the two names most frequently brought up in this discussion. Recently, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo revealed where he stands on the matter.
While Antetokounmpo isn't in the GOAT discussion, he is easily one of the greatest players of his generation. He is fresh off another dominant campaign, which saw him average 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 60.1% from the field. However, the Bucks were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for the third year in a row.
As the offseason approaches, Antetokounmpo's name has popped up in trade discussions frequently, but he recently decided to cut through the tension with a fun Q&A on X. Antetokounmpo was asked who he thinks is the NBA's GOAT, and chances are his answer won't be what fans are looking for.
"MR or Bron for now," Antetokounmpo said when asked who he believes is the greatest player in NBA history.

— Giannis Antetokounmpo (@Giannis_An34) May 18, 2025Rather than picking between the two, Antetokounmpo took the easy route and simply listed both Jordan and James as the game's two greatest players. He did leave the door open for someone to snag the title for themselves, but he is among the folks who believe it's a two-man race for the time being.
Fans were certainly hoping Antetokounmpo would have actually picked between the two, but you can't always get what you wanted. Milwaukee is set to enter an extremely important offseason, as their future will likely depend on whether or not they end up trading their Greek superstar.
