How to unlock the Thundercry Blade in Where Winds Meet

The Thundercry Blade is a powerful weapon in Where Winds Meet, known for its tankiness and strong damage output. You can obtain it from the Well of Heaven Martial Camp in the Kaifeng region after completing Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier. Alternatively, you can also get it as a reward from Qi Sheng after delivering your first Oddity.

How to get the Thundercry Blade in Where Winds Meet

As of now, there are three ways to obtain the Thundercry Blade in Where Winds Meet. Here are the steps for each method:

Stealing from the Master at Well of Heaven Martial Camp

The first method to get Thundercry Blade in WWM involves stealing it from the Martial Camp of the Well of Heaven Sect. Here's how to do so:

1. Travel to the Well of Heaven Martial Camp in the southern Kaifeng region.
2. Climb a wall on the left-hand side of the main entrance to enter the camp, then move stealthily toward the ramp and ladder to reach the first save point.
3. Continue inwards through rooftops while also assassinating disciples guarding the chests along the way.
4. Once you reach the blue ring area within the Well of Heaven camp, perform Skill Theft to obtain the Thundercry Blade Martial Art.

We recommend unlocking the Touch of Death Mystic Art by completing the The Realm Endures side story before undertaking this task to easily eliminate guards without being discovered.

Joining the Well of Heaven Sect

Alternatively, you can join the Well of Heaven Sect to obtain the Thundercry Blade. Just fulfill the requirements to progress and unlock the Thundercry Blade Martial Art.

Reward from Qi Sheng

Qi Sheng is an NPC in-game that provides you with rewards in exchange for Oddities. When you first submit an Oddity to the character, you will receive the option to pick any Martial Art of your choosing, including the Thundercry Blade. Since you can interact with this NPC before reaching Kaifeng, it is a great beginner-friendly method to get this weapon.
