- Head to the Minecraft Maps website.
- Browse through and download a custom map. Make sure to see which game version it supports.
- The map will be downloaded in a zip file.
- Once you open the zip file, you will find a folder with the map's name; simply extract this folder.
- Then, you need to copy and paste this folder into Minecraft Java Edition's official directory. For most players, it should be " C:\Users\{your device's name}\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves".
- Find the "saves" folder and copy-paste the downloaded map folder into it.
- Launch the game's official launcher and install the required game version for the map to run smoothly.
