Best Nature for Excadrill in Pokemon Legends Z-A
This Pokemon evolves from Drilbur at level 31 or can be caught in Wild Zone 14. Since Excadrill is Steel and Ground type, two elements that benefit the most from Physical category moves, the best Nature would be one that enhances its Attack stat. As such, we recommend going with Adamant (Atk+, Sp Atk-).
Other Natures like Jolly and Naughty also work but they reduce Def and Sp. Def. This is not recommended since Excadrill is weak to both Physical elements like Fighting and Ground, as well as Special category element types like Fire and Water.
Best Moveset for Excadrill in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Excadrill can be found not just in the wild but also under enemy trainers (Image via The Pokemon Company)Players interested in just the campaign can get by with these moves:
- Drill Run
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Earth Power
Cycling between offensive moves should let players cruise through most story content. For competitive, here is what we recommend:
- Dig
- Iron Head
- Poison Jab
- Stealth Rock
Dig allows escaping from danger and strike back, while Iron Head inflicts good damage. Poison Jab is also effective at close range for most types and can inflict poiso status effectn, while Stealth Rock sets up hazards for enemies to get across.

As previously mentioned, Excadrill ahs an excellent Attack stat on top of a good Speed stat, but everything else is mediocre. Thankfully, its shortcomings are covered after Mega Evolving it, resulting in the following new stats while this form is active:
