Rocketeers in Arc Raiders are some of the most difficult mobs that you will face while finding high-value loot on different maps. These are ARCs that can fly around and usually post themselves around important parts of the map. They are aggressive and will actively try to shoot you down with high-damage missiles. Fortunately, they are not invulnerable to incoming damage and have a few weak spots that you can exploit.
This article will highlight the best way to take down Rocketeers in Arc Raiders.

How to destroy Rocketeers in Arc Raiders
Rocketeers in Arc Raiders are not of the boss category and spawn around the map like normal enemies. However, they are rarer and primarily found near important locations like High Loot Value areas and extraction elevators.
That said, here is how you can defeat Rocketeers in Arc Raiders:
- Rocketeers deal a lot of damage with their missiles, so make sure to be on the move when fighting against them. This makes it easier for you to avoid area-based explosive damage and dodge consistently.
- Aim for the rotors of this ARC enemy that help it fly and maintain its stability mid-air. This is one of the weak points and can assist you in dealing meaningful damage to eventually destroy it.
- The Rocketeers have a red orb attached below them. This is another weak spot that you can shoot and inflict massive damage. Attacking the weak points can be done with regular rifles, as these are generally not armored or protected.
- You can also use EMP grenades to stun the Rocketeers. This provides you with the option to carry on with the fight and destroy it, or to simply run away if necessary.

It is important to note that Rocketeers are quite high on the threat list, and it is best to retreat if you spot a group of them looming over an area. While you could try to solo a single Rocketeer, the situation drastically changes when the machines have help on their side. The risk is too high and could cause you to lose out on all of the hard-earned loot that you have gathered in that session.
The Rocketeers have a slow laser targeting animation that you can use to get behind solid cover. There are also ample audio cues that you can wait for before dodging incoming missiles. While this is a difficult enemy, it can be defeated with ease by following a poking strategy and hiding during the gaps.
