Green Bay's population pales in comparison to other NFL cities. The next smallest is Buffalo (274,678), which has a population that more than doubles that of Green Bay.

It is worth noting that the Patriots play in Foxborough, Mass., a town of fewer than 20,000 people. With the team bearing a New England moniker, however, it is hard to reduce its home area to just Foxborough.

Foxborough itself is a part of the Greater Boston metropolitan region of New England, which has a population of nearly five million. The Green Bay metropolitan area, which includes Milwaukee, has an estimated 331,882 people.
