The wedding of David and Mychal, a long-awaited event, opens episode 7 of House of David season 2. The entire kingdom is seen in excitement, and noblemen from across Israel attend the event.

David now has everything he needs to become a favorite of the king. He is marrying Mychal. Sara, Jonathan's wife, announces her pregnancy before the vows. She spotted the indications, and while the couple is happy, the ramifications are serious.

This kid might change everything. Since Jonathan is the crown prince, his unborn child will succeed Eshbaal. Sara fears civil unrest if the truth about David's anointment as king is revealed. Jonathan promises to protect Sara and their kid, even considering leaving the capital to avoid the chaos.

After returning from exile, Eshbaal actions change, and Dinah discovers a horrifying story about the Israelite silos attack while hunting. She relates the fire to Gibbeah's mercenary conspiracy that killed her father. She is shocked when her husband, Eshbaal, knocks her from the castle walls and kills her after she presents this evidence.

Dinah’s death is the first major turning point of episode 7. During her investigation into the attack on the silos, Dinah uncoavers a letter implicating a high-ranking insider in the conspiracy.

She suspects that someone close to the royal family is behind the attack. Unfortunately, her discoveries do not lead to justice. After confronting her husband, Eshbaal, she is thrown from the castle walls, meeting a tragic end.

Mirab, Eshbaal's sister, witnesses the murder and is ethically conflicted. Eshbaal advises her to keep quiet, endangering her safety. Mirab shields her brother despite her confused feelings. In court, she falsely says Dinah committed suicide due to emotional hardship.

Eshbaal tells King Saul that God has anointed David as Israel's real king, escalating conflict. Saul is enraged, already struggling with internal strife and decreasing control. It's inevitable that Saul and David fight. Saul calls David at night to tell him about his anointing. David confidently claims that God, not Samuel, chose him, infuriating Saul.

In a fit of rage, Saul throws his spear at David, a dramatic and symbolic gesture of his rejection of the prophecy and David’s future claim to the throne.
