The Chrysos Awoo Championship is Honkai Star Rail 3.8’s flagship event. Players can acquire various rewards such as Stellar Jade, Tracks of Destiny, Self-Modeling Resin, and more. The gameplay loop of Chrysos Awoo Championship is similar to a previous event named “The Awoo Firm.” Hence, players who have been playing this title for a long time will have an easier time getting accustomed to its mechanics.

How to complete the Chrysos Awoo Championship event in Honkai Star Rail

Like The Awoo Firm event, in Chrysos Awoo Championship, you will be appointed to manage your own team of Chimera. Although the gameplay is similar, the latter event features several new mechanics that somewhat resemble Currency Wars. Now, you can select Chimeras from a catalogue and get them by spending Gold Coins. If you don’t like the current list, then you can switch it by pressing the “Refresh” button.

Moreover, you can enhance your existing Chimeras by getting two copies of them. Once you upgrade one, you can get a chance to recruit a high-tier creature. On top of that, you can buy and use different equipment from the store, which also changes once you refresh.

You will get a certain amount of Gold Coins after completing each round, which you can use to change your Chimera lineup. However, you can only do so in between two rounds. As your leftover Gold Coins will disappear once you start the next wave, make sure to spend them.

When you start a fight, you will need to win a series of challenges, usually five, before you secure victory. However, you possess a health bar; therefore, you cannot afford to lose many battles. If you do, the run will be counted as a failure, and you’ll have to start over.

Every time you start a battle, you can choose your Chrysos Heir. However, you must unlock them first using an invitation ticket. Once you are in a battle, you can easily build a team revolving around the Chrysos Heir’s Chimera from the lineup recommendation. After doing so, the featured creatures have a higher chance of showing up in the store.

Now, all you have to do is build a strong team of Chimeras and defeat the enemies. Once you win, you will move to the next stage. Repeat this process until you complete all Chrysos Awoo Championship event challenges in Honkai Star Rail.
