Dustin Rhodes reacts to top AEW star signing a new contract, admits he "can't stand him"

AEW star Dustin Rhodes is a professional wrestling veteran. He has been signed to the Jacksonville-based company since 2019 and is a former TNT Champion. His father was the legendary Dusty Rhodes, and his brother is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

The Natural is indefinitely out of action because he recently underwent double knee replacement surgery. The former WWE star is deeply respected by his peers. He has locked horns with several names in the Jacksonville-based company, including the Don Callis family's Kyle Fletcher.

Kyle Fletcher recently revealed that he has signed a new contract with the Tony Khan-led company. The Protostar is an extraodinatly talent, and All Elite Wrestling are lucky to have him. Dustin was happy to learn that the Australian native was not leaving the promotion anytime soon. He released a statement on X acknowledging the 26-year-old's talent.

"Its best for business even though I can't stand him. You can't deny his talent," he said.

The former Goldust wrote the above statement in character. Afterall, Fletcher is a heel and the very person who ended his TNT Title reign. Hopefully, the two men will battle again someday.

AEW star Kyle Fletcher reveals that he was on vacation in Jamaica when he signed his new contract

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the Protostar revealed he was on a beach in Jamaica when he signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling. He was evidently overjoyed by it.

"I was on a beach in Jamaica when I signed my contract… It was pretty surreal. It was one of those moments that I thought about my whole life, signing that first big deal," said the AEW star.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Fletcher. Hopefully, he will become the AEW World Champion someday.
