Heidi Klum Shares Glimpse of Grotesque 2026 Halloween Costume One Week Before Annual Bash
Heidi Klum's kids didn't need a hand with their Halloween costumes this year.
The supermodel's children Leni Klum, 22, Johan Samuel, 19, and Lou Samuel, 17, proved they've got more than skeletons in their closet as they were dressed in their Halloween finest while making a rare joint appearance at her annual party at Cathédrale Restaurant in New York Oct. 31.
For their mom’s annual spooky season bash, Leni—whom Heidi shares with ex Flavio Briatore—transformed into a diva as Miss Piggy, with a white nightgown, a purple feather boa, pig ears and a prosthetic nose.
Lou channeled Starfire from Teen Titans, rocking a purple costume as the superheroine on the red carpet alongside brother Johan, who looked frighteningly good with zombie makeup.
As for the Queen of Halloween herself, while Heidi dressed in a terrifying Medusa costume at her 2025 event—her husband Tom Kaulitz appearing as one of her stone victims—this year the model leaned even further to the grotesque, pulling together a chilling costume that was truly larger than life.
Yep, the 53-year-old—also mom to Henry, 21, with ex-husband Seal—once again proved she isn’t afraid to look terrifyingly disgusting, arriving to her party as a severed hand.
"It was about six hours to get ready, but obviously my team they spent months on doing this," Heidi told E!. "Many people, many hands doing this hand."
It even included a nod to husband, as her costume replicated her real wedding ring and her tattoo on the back of her ring finger bearing Tom's name.

While her exact costume remained under wraps until Halloween, she did tease her 2026 costume a week before the bash.
“What’s my costume?” Heidi wrote alongside a zoomed in shot of her costume on Oct. 24. “One week to go….”
The close up revealed what looked to be prosthetic pieces in various colors and textures—including slime. While the photo didn’t reveal exactly what Heidi’s costume would be, fans speculated the look might be aquatic in nature in the comment section, while others wondered if she was aspiring to imitate the zombies in The Last of Us or the creature from the 2024 film The Substance.

And while the reality proved to hit even more close to home that fans could have imagined, they shouldn’t have been surprised by the gore.
Heidi told People back in September this year’s costume would be “very, very bloody.”
“That’s what Halloween is all about,” she emphasized. “We go gory, and we go there.”
And go there she did. To see how other celebrities brewed up a terrifyingly good costume for Heidi’s party, read on.
