On Sunday, November 2, Adam Hadwin celebrated his 38th birthday. However, the Canadian professional's special day did not end well.

For those unaware, on October 25, the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays started. On Hadwin's birthday, the seven-game MLB World Series finally concluded with the Toronto Blue Jays suffering a cruel 4-5 loss against the LA Dodgers in the seventh game. Adam Hadwin, being a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, could not help but share his thoughts regarding this unfortunate defeat.

On his X (previously Twitter) account, the one-time PGA Tour winner admitted how heartbreaking it was to watch his favourite team miss out on the World Series win. However, Hadwin reflected on the year so far and congratulated the MLB players. Adam Hadwin wrote:

"Heartbreaking finish but what a year it was. Congrats to the players who inspired a country!"

Take a look at the X post by Hadwin on the MLB World Series loss of the Toronto Blue Jays:

Heartbreaking finish but what a year it was. Congrats to the players who inspired a country!

On November 2, the LA Dodgers celebrated their ninth World Series title win, and their third one in a span of six years under Dave Roberts' tenure as the manager. By defeating the Toronto Blue Jays, the Dodgers also became the first team to win back-to-back World Series titles in 25 years of MLB.

Adam Hadwin's favorite, the Toronto Blue Jays had an early 3-0 lead after Bo Bichette hitting a home run off Shohei Ohtani. However, the Dodgers caught up with two sacrifice flies in the 4th and 6th innings. Even though the Blue Jays pushed a 4-2 lead in the 6th inning, Max Muncy and Miguel Rojas' home runs diminished it to a 4-4 tie. In the 11th, Will Smith's home run saw the Dodgers take a 5-4 lead while Yoshinobu Yamamoto sealed the win by inducing a double play.

When Adam Hadwin got trolled by his wife following his first pitch at the home of the Toronto Blue Jays

Back in June 2023, ahead of the RBC Canadian Open, Hadwin visited the Rogers Center. In a video, Hadwin was spotted making the throw but it fell short, bouncing off the base plate. The golfer appeared a bit humiliated while approaching Erik Swanson and telling how he "will take some dirt" with him.

Jessica and Adam Hadwin were in the middle of a domestic spat on X from the day before. Although the golfer's wife did not roast him, she did not shy away from taking a sly dig at the pro after the PGA Tour shared the video on X:

"I’ve been asked to comment on this and I would just like to reiterate that we all fall short, and y’all need Jesus for wanting me to publicly humiliate my dear husband"

It's worth noting that both Adam and Jessica Hadwin openly support the MLB team. On multiple occasions, the professional golfer and his wife have been spotted attending a Toronto Blue Jays game together.
