“He will feel the pain” - Marat Grigorian ready to "bring hell" to Rukiya Anpo at ONE 173

Three-time kickboxing world champion Marat Grigorian of Armenia has grown tired of Rukiya Anpo’s constant provocations.

The 34-year-old veteran can’t wait to slug it out with the brash promotional newcomer and make him pay for his words in their featherweight kickboxing clash at ONE 173 on Nov. 16.

Grigorian is extremely fired up and promises to unleash his fury on Anpo inside Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.

Anpo’s blatant disregard for Grigorian’s sparkling credentials was evident during the ONE 173 Tokyo press conference.

Anpo, a former K-1 champion, is eager to catapult himself into title contention by beating the former two-time ONE featherweight kickboxing world title challenger.

‘Demolition Man’ insisted the Hemmers Gym product was predictable and one-dimensional, which certainly didn’t sit well with Grigorian.

The former Glory kickboxing world champion said in his ONE Championship interview:

"When people talk [badly] about me, I'll make them pay. As the days get shorter, he will understand who he's gonna face. I will bring hell, and he will feel the pain."

Grigorian’s anger nearly boiled over during the press conference, but he somehow managed to maintain his composure. But come fight time, the Armenian warrior made it clear there will be hell to pay.

Marat Grigorian remains baffled as to where Rukiya Anpo's unapologetic confidence comes from.

The Hemmers Gym standout has met a lot of trash talkers in the past, but admits the Japanese star takes it to a whole different level.

Grigorian didn't hold back when addressing the ONE debutant's attitude in the same interview:

"He's been talking a lot, hasn't he? He's delusional. He thinks he can just come, beat me up, and finish me like I'm nothing. Everyone knows that I'm much better than what he thinks I am."
