“He whispered to me” - Aliff says Prajanchai sent him chilling warning in heated face off

Malaysian-Thai striking sensation Aliff Sor Dechapan shared what really went down in his heated face-off with ONE strawweight Muay Thai world titleholder Prajanchai PK Saenchai.

After Aliff defeated Elmehdi El Jamari last June at ONE Fight Night 32, the Thai icon entered the ring and went face-to-face with the 21-year-old contender.

While cameras caught the pair staring each other down, Aliff recalled some verbal warfare they exchanged during that heated moment.

Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Aliff shared how he promised to dethrone the 125-pound Muay Thai overlord and the response he got from Prajanchai.

"I told him I wanted the belt. That's the first thing I told him when we were inside the ring. And then, after, he whispered to me, 'It's going to be very hard.'"

Aliff all but confirmed his status as the No.1 contender for Prajanchai’s crown at ONE Fight Night 38.

On Dec. 5, he outstruck 19-year-old surging Lebanese phenom Ramadan Ondash on the way to a unanimous decision win at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, to stretch his winning streak to five.
