Chicago Bears running backs coach Eric Bieniemy took a brutal hit from a Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman on Sunday. Bieniemey was on the sidelines when Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was pushed out of bounds, but when the opposition players were chasing him, one of them crashed into the Bears' RB coach, sending him off his feet.
Bieniemy's headset fell off after the hit, but he got himself back on his feet swiftly. Fans on social media had some interesting reactions to Bieniemy getting hit on the sidelines.

He is the Buffs' all-time leader in rushing yards (3,940) and touchdowns (42).
Bieniemy played in the NFL for nine years from 1991 to 1999 with the San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Bieniemy retired 25 years ago, but the hit he took during Sunday's game might have brought back some memories for the 56-year-old.

Bieniemy was hired by the Bears in the offseason. He is currently in his first year as Chicago's RBs coach.
Bieniemy helped the Kansas City Chiefs win two Super Bowls when he was their offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2023.
In the 2023 season, Bieniemy was the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders. In 2024, he was the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at UCLA.
