Since the NBA Draft, the Hawks front office has been active in the trade market.
They are beginning to shape their roster for next season and are looking to improve after a solid season.
They already made one key trade for a rotation player, and they made another on Monday for a guard.

It doesn't appear that the Hawks gave up anything at the moment, as acquiring Carter was done mainly to help the Kings get off his contract.
The Kings should be in for a busy offseason, as they look to move off additional contracts.
Devin Carter will join Aaron Wiggins, who was acquired from the Thunder, as the second notable active player to be traded to Atlanta this offseason.
In the 2025-26 NBA season, Carter averaged 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and2.7 assists in 38 games.
