Political commentator Hasan "HasanAbi" has stated that he may quit Twitch streaming in 2026. On December 29, 2025, a one-minute-59-second video from his Just Chatting livestream surfaced on X, in which he expressed his dissatisfaction with his online community's actions towards certain content creators.

While suggesting that his community "be normal" by "preserving their energy and use it in the appropriate direction," the Turkish-American personality stated that he "hates Twitch streaming" and added:

"'Chat is not listening to you, HasanAbi.' Jesus Christ, dude! I f**king... I hate Twitch streaming. I genuinely. Maybe, 2026, I just quit. Maybe, 2026, I just quit Twitch streaming, and I just go to, like, either full-time video on demand YouTube videos or just like go away entirely. I just, I can't. It's so lame. It's so sh**ty. Everything sucks!"

HasanAbi slams his viewers for attacking his friends

In the video shared by X user @awk20000 mentioned above, HasanAbi was seen reviewing his Twitch channel moderator's message to his live viewers, who said:

"chat please be less parasocial it's okay, peach is hasan's friend and hasan is being a good friend. STOP BRIGADING PEACH'S STREAM CRYING YOU F**KING PARASOCIAL WEIRDOS."

In response, the 34-year-old stated that he would ban anyone who brigaded his friend's livestream. Telling his viewers to "be normal," Hasan remarked:

"Do not do f**king dumb s**t like that. What the f**k's wrong with you guys, bro? It's fine. Be f**king normal. What is happening? Do not... I wish, like, I was thinking about this this morning. It's like people don't have this appropriate level of smoke for, like, actual political actors. Right? They have way more f**king smoke for my friends and people who are aligned with them politically. Then they do for actual people. Actual people on the opposing side. You know? Preserve your energy and use it in the appropriate direction."

HasanAbi also voiced his discontent with his followers for "yelling" at Twitch streamer Brandon "Atrioc":

"Even when people were, like, yelling about Atrioc. Right? Earlier or yesterday. He is, by and large, a dude that has, like, pretty decent politics. What do you think is going to happen when you're f**king yelling at him? Like, there is no reason to yell at him. Go f**king yell at the people that are making the f**king right-wing propaganda, or the people who are promoting the right-wing propaganda, as opposed to Atrioc."

HasanAbi made headlines on December 27, 2025, when Kick streamer Adin Ross expressed his belief that he "killed" his pet dog, Fish.
