GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills is a new upcoming DLC that will add mansions to Los Santos. Though Rockstar officially announced them a few days ago in November, it was confirmed by reputed dataminers all the way back in June. Several confirmed information about these future properties were leaked along with previous DLC data.
Here is an entire timeline of every detail that has been confirmed for GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills DLC.
Entire timeline of leaks and confirmed features in GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills
First major leaks in June
Leaks and details about mansions began when Rockstar Games released the Money Fronts DLC in June 2025. Soon after its release, many dataminers started picking apart the game's code to find fascinating information about the next DLC.
One of the notable dataminers, Floorball__, found out the name of the future in-game company "Prix Luxury Real Estate" and that the game will offer an exclusive discount on an upcoming mansion when it releases.
This leak confirmed that mansions were coming to GTA Online with the help of Prix Luxury Real Estate.
After a few days, another dataminer named Lucas7yoshi revealed that the game files also have information about three prologue missions, jointly called New Listings. These missions will essentially be a teaser for the mansions. The leaks also had a clip of Raf's voice lines from the prologue missions, in which he confirms that mansions are coming to Los Santos.
Lucas7yoshi also shared pictures of different locations in which mansions will eventually generate on the map. It was confirmed that one of the mansions will be Devin Weston's, while the other will be beside Miguel Madrazo's mansion.
More information leaked in July
In July, more information about mansions was leaked. A reputed insider named Tez2 posted on X about script leftovers from the game's code, suggesting that mansions could have party hosting features like arcade cabinets. This feature is similar to Casino Master Penthouses.
Official Rockstar announcements and slip-ups in November
Eventually, Rockstar released the three New Listings missions called: Due Diligence, Fixes & Fittings, and Hard Deadlines. The developers shared a picture of a mansion in a November newswire, where these missions were announced. A GTA fan account on X named Digital Car Addict deciphered that the new properties could also have a personal helipad.
Furthermore, the picture gave a sneak peek that the mansion's interiors might be fully visible from the outside.
Both these features were confirmed when Rockstar recently dropped an official 16-second teaser for mansions, naming the update as GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills. The teaser also confirmed that mansions will include two swimming pools, a sliding door allowing players to exit the main building seamlessly, and more.
As of now, there is no confirmation about the number of mansions that will be released. However, Tez2 discovered that Spanish and Korean translations of Rockstar's newswire clearly state that there will be three mansions in the DLC.
Furthermore, since the New Listings missions will end after December 7, 2025, the GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills DLC release date was also confirmed to be December 9, 2025.
