ONE atomweight kickboxing contender Kana Morimoto of Japan admitted her victory against Stamp Fairtex at ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri didn’t come easy.

‘Krusher Queen’ welcomed the former three-sport queen back after her two-year hiatus due to injury in a three-round atomweight kickboxing battle at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena last Nov. 16.

The action-packed match turned out to be one of the best fights of the stacked event, as both women traded leather throughout.

Kana, who was gunning for redemption, pushed forward with relentless pressure and forced the Thai fan-favorite on the back foot for much of the contest.

Her speed, accuracy, and volume powered her to a dominant, unanimous decision victory.

Speaking during the ONE 173 post-fight interviews, Kana praised Stamp for putting on an incredible performance despite her lengthy lay-off.

"First of all, thank you, everybody, for the support, and secondly, to Stamp for accepting this fight after the long layoff. Please give her a huge round of applause.”

The Team Aftermath standout admitted she tried to finish off the former atomweight MMA world champion, but lauded Stamp for her toughness.

Kada added:

“I was able to put the pressure on, utilize the strong points of my game, but she was so tough, and she didn't go down."

Kana ready to keep momentum after massive win over Stamp

Kana Morimoto has been through the wringer, getting tested by some of the best female strikers in the world.

This included shortcomings against Anissa Meksen and reigning ONE atomweight kickboxing world champion Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom.

At ONE 173, the 33-year-old veteran was finally able to showcase her true capabilities against Stamp Fairtex.

'Krusher Queen' looked back at her monumental victory in a heartfelt Instagram post:

"I survived. I won. Thank you for fighting [me], Stamp.🙏🏽 Moving on to the next fight. Thank you for all your support. Thank you everyone around the world."
