Take Two could discuss the game in their next earnings call (Image via Take Two Interactive || Rockstar Games)Take Two Interactive is a massive corporation that owns many subsidiary companies like Rockstar Games, Zynga, and 2K. They conduct a quarterly earnings call where they talk about these companies, their popular titles, live services, and future games.
According to their website, the next earnings call will be held on November 6, 2025 (November 7, 2025, for a few eastern time zones). With every one of these earnings calls, thousands of fans discuss whether they will be talking about GTA 6 or not.
As November begins, many are speculating that Rockstar Games could release a pre-order option and the third trailer for GTA 6. These speculations surfaced from the second trailer, where Jason's watch showed 11:08, which can be seen as November 8, 2025.
Furthermore, the company recently added a new front-page card about their next game, showcasing an artwork and buttons encouraging fans to watch the second trailer and visit the game's website.
Hence, in the next earnings call, Take Two could speak about GTA 6's future marketing plans, like the third trailer, posters, and more. They could also talk about when the pre-orders could be expected.
Lastly, there is an underlying fear among fans that the game could be further delayed until the fall of 2026. Since this might concern several investors as well, Take Two Interactive's higher-ups might clarify and discuss this. As of now, the game is set to release on May 26, 2026.
Take Two Interactive's CEO on GTA 6 marketing strategy
While we speculate that Take Two might discuss GTA 6 in their next earnings call, there is a small chance that they might not. This is because Rockstar Games went silent after releasing the second trailer with other game details on May 6, 2025.
Furthermore, Take Two Interactive's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, explained in a Bloomberg Television interview that the company wants to maintain the hype by keeping a short marketing length, close to the game's release.
"The anticipation for that title may be the greatest anticipation I've ever seen for an entertainment property. And we want to maintain the anticipation and the excitement...We found that the better thing to do is to provide marketing materials relatively close to the release window in order to create that excitement on one hand and balance the excitement with unmet anticipation," Zelnick said.
