Nebraska Volleyball players Maisie Boesiger, Teraya Sigler, and others opened up on why Rebekah Allick would be a great partner if they got stuck on a deserted island. Allick joined the Nebraska Women's Volleyball team as a freshman in 2022 and is currently serving as a senior middle blocker for the program.

She has shown an impressive performance this season, surpassing former Husker Sarah Pavan to sit in fifth place on the program's all-time career block list. She achieved this breakthrough feat after registering a career-high 13 kills in a match against Maryland on October 27, 2025. Along with being a dependable player for her teammates on court, she also excels in skills off the court, which her teammates expressed they would depend on.

In a media engagement interview, when asked about who they would like to have as a company on a deserted island, Maisie Boesiger, Teraya Sigler, Ryan Hunter, and Kenna Cogill mentioned Allick. Sigler said

"Definitely Rebehka. She just seems like she would have great survival skills. 100 percent Rebehka. She would go on war for me on a deserted island."

Ryan Hunter added:

"Lowkey Becca."

Boesiger highlighted Allick's probable survival skills and chimed in:

"I feel like her survival skills will be on point. She could make a fire, and she could catch food."

Freshman Kenna Cogill also showed confidence in Allick and said:

"She would really take care of me. She would fight like anything."

Nebraska Volleyball's Allick mentioned Andi Jackson and expressed her love for her teammates.

"Maybe Andi," she said. "Andi would be like, she would go hunt stuff with me." "I would probably have a warpaint on my face, like hanging from a tree," she added. "I love every single one of those girls."

Against Michigan State, Allick scored eight kills and led the team to a 3-0 victory.

Nebraska Volleyball's Rebekah Allick opens up on her thoughts if the program faces defeat in a set

In a press conference, Nebraska Volleyball's Rebekah Allick opened up about her plan if the team loses a set this season. She said that the team would always focus on process, irrespective of the results, as being undefeated in the sets wouldn't confirm the national title.

"I feel like if we become fixated on the outcome, it has never ever worked in anyone's favor. So just staying in the moment is huge and a big takeaway that I have from John Cook, like just coaching me over the last few years. He almost used to come with a little bit of an attitude when we were ranked number one. He was like, 'So you think you guys can just coast this week because you're ranked number one?' Just this and that. Yeah, it's an accolade, but it's nothing more than an Instagram post."

The Nebraska Volleyball team has so far won 34 sets consecutively.
