Over the years, Grayson Allen has garnered a reputation for physical spats and committing unwarranted fouls. A spat between him and Philadelphia 76ers forward Jaylen Brown led to them getting a technical foul apiece in the Saturday matchup between the 76ers and the Charlotte Hornets.

During that game, there was a battle for a loose ball, and it led to some shoves. While the blame could certainly be thrown at Brown, it seems that Allen is also taking accountability for what happened.

Grayson Allen believes he and Jaylen Brown deserved the technical fouls

Allen had his best performance of the season with the Hornets so far. He scored 27 points on the back of seven made three-pointers, but it seems that has been overshadowed by the Hornets' collapse after taking a 13-point lead and the technical foul situation.

Saturday could have been a massive night for the Hornets, as they could have beaten one of the league's best teams. Unfortunately, Tyrese Maxey had different plans due to his 38-point night.

After the game, Allen was visibly disappointed about the loss. However, he also addressed the situation with Brown, and he made sure to take accountability for what happened.

"We're just both fighting for the ball, and we both gave a little bit extra after the whistle, and probably fairly both assessed techs," Allen simply said about his spat with Brown.

That is a healthy perspective on the situation from Allen. Considering that he has had experience with this kind of thing, it shows that he has definitely matured over the years, and he is ready to shoulder the responsibility more often than not.
