This offseason, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings made it clear.
He said he either wanted a raise or wanted to be traded.
So far, the 49ers have done neither. But there's still a chance the trade is coming.
That's because there are plenty of teams out there who need WR help, including the New York Giants.

ESPN's Ben Solak thinks the Giants are a match for Jennings.
"The Giants' receiver room is built for speed and quickness, so adding a bruising force in Jennings makes sense in the short and long term," Solak writes. "Dart likes throwing 50-50 balls but targeting Lil'Jordan Humphrey on such routes has taken the team only so far. Jennings would get volume and make a strong case for the big extension he's seeking this offseason."
The Giants definitely would have more space available to them to give Jennings a raise in an extension if he looked the part the rest of the season.
New York's receiving corps has been lacking since Malik Nabers went down with a season-ending injury.

Making a trade isn't a necessity. The Giants probably can't run down a playoff spot.
But thinking about Jaxson Dart's development, and about the future of the wide receiver room, means it's at least worth looking into a deal like this.
Jennings has struggled with health this season, but he had the best year of his NFL career in 2024. The Giants could buy a bit low on him to take him off the 49ers' hands and potentially give him a revitalizing fresh start with a good young QB.
