Andrew Tate’s return to boxing seemingly fell flat, and the boxing world took notice. The Misfits Boxing Fight Before Christmas main event in Dubai was framed as Tate's comeback moment. However, what unfolded was a scrappy heavyweight bout where Tate struggled to keep pace with Chase DeMoor.

From the opening round, the fight lacked structure. Both men missed often, clinched frequently, and showed little tactical discipline.

The reaction from the boxing community in the aftermath was brutal. UK-based Misfits boxer HS TikkyTokky posted a profanity-filled video, criticizing both fighters, placing particular focus on Tate’s loss as a blow to the image he has built online. He said:

"Chase Demoor has just beaten Andrew Tate. I cannot even believe it. First of all, I want to say, as a nice guy that I am, I feel bad for Tate. He’s built a big legacy and just lost it all. Generational aura debt. The Federal Reserve and Donald Trump couldn’t bail this guy out of the debt that he’s in right now. It’s actually mad. I can’t believe it. So condolences to Tate.”

He added:

"Secondly, now, Chase, you are not hard, mate. Even in victory, you’re still a simp. Why are you crying when you just won? Why are you going? Oh, I just beat the hardest man in the world. You are a c*ck, mate. Anyway, listen, you’re on my radar now, lad. So get training. I’ll punch your fu*king head in, yeah. Your head in, lad. Let’s get it going, bro. Let’s get it going.”

As for the fight, DeMoor, the reigning Misfits heavyweight champion, was loose with his technique but consistent with his effort. Tate, fighting for the first time in years, appeared stiff and uncomfortable. His output was limited, his movement slowed quickly, and his timing never settled.

DeMoor used the win to call for bigger opponents, including Tommy Fury. Tate, meanwhile, was noncommittal about his future in combat sports and praised his opponent for the performance.
