(Photo via Getty Images)After enjoying a dominant season with 33 consecutive wins, the Nebraska Volleyball team was defeated by the Texas A&M team in the NCAA regional final, 2-3, on December 14, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. In an interview with Hurrdat Sports Live, the former Cornhusker Lexi Rodriguez expressed her feelings about Nebraska's loss and the opponent team's performance and said:
“I think, yeah, being able to walk into an arena like Devaney and someone's home crowd like that. You could tell they were confident from right off the bat, but it was pretty cool to see and special for that team, I think, just never being to a final, or not being to a final four in a really long time. Ever, I think. Ever, yeah. It was really cool to see, honestly, but it just sucks that it had to be against Nebraska." (22:59 onwards)Rodriguez represented the Nebraska Volleyball team from 2021 to 2024.
