Jon Moxley suffers untimely injury; Renee Paquette issues statement

Jon Moxley had one of the most incredible matches at the AEW Worlds End 2025 pay-per-view. However, his wife, Renee Paquette, revealed that he did not walk out of the match unscathed.

At the AEW Worlds End 2025, The Purveyor of Violence was scheduled to battle Kyle Fletcher in one of the semi-final matches of the Continental Classic. Renne Paquette was seen giving her take on the match and both competitors as Fletcher was making his entrance for the showdown.

AEW posted the clip on their social media after Moxley and Fletcher delivered a highly captivating match, which saw the former WWE Champion tap out The Protostar with the bulldog choke to secure the win and head to the finals of the Continental Classic later that night.

Renee Paquette took to her X to repost the clip and issue a statement revealing that Moxley had his tooth knocked out during the match. The spot had come outside the ring after the Death Riders leader hit his jaw on the steel steps, just before Fletcher had trapped him on the ring post.

Despite the aforementioned spot, Jon Moxley emerged victorious from the classic in-ring match and advanced to the finals of the Continental Classic. He would square off against the reigning AEW Continental Champion, Kazuchika Okada, who had defeated his Don Callis Family member, Konosuke Takeshita. However, the former Shield member walks into the match at a disadvantage.

Apart from having his tooth knocked out, Jon Moxley also injured his leg. Adding insult to injury, Kyle Fletcher inflicted further damage on his injury spot after the match was over. With a high-stakes showdown ahead of him, it remains to be seen if Moxley will be able to hold his own against a top opponent like Kazuchika Okada.
