Lamar Jackson was ruled out of Saturday's game against the Green Bay Packers. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback suffered a back contusion during last week's 28-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. This resulted in him missing out on the entire second half as Tyler Huntley took over as his replacement.

However, according to an article by Jonas Shaffer of "The Baltimore Banner," the two-time NFL MVP is not the only sports star to miss games due to an injury. He highlighted how the Lakers were without Luka Doncic for five games because of a leg contusion and how the Golden State Warriors' star Stephen Curry missed five games due to a quadricep contusion and muscle strain.

In his article, Shaffer also highlighted the severity of Lamar Jackson's injury following the comments from Ravens coach John Harbaugh.

"It's legitimate and very painful," Harbaugh said. "The muscles lock up around it. You can't really move well. He is in the process now of loosening all that up, hopefully. You can't really say when it's going to be right. He has to be able to play. He has to be able to be an athlete and be able to move. ... To be an athlete, you have to be able to move around and do your thing. So that's what you're working back toward with all the treatment and everything."

Lamar Jackson has dealt with multiple concerns this season. He suffered a hamstring injury during their Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. This sidelined him for three games before returning in Week 9's victory against the Lions.

After that, the veteran quarterback missed multiple practice sessions because of minor injuries and illness. This has raised questions about his physical health and his longevity in the league.

The Ravens are currently in second place behind the Steelers in the AFC North with a 7-8 record. This victory against the Packers is crucial in order for them to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Colin Cowherd names two teams that could possibly trade for Lamar Jackson

Over the past few days, reports started surfacing about an alleged rift between Lamar Jackson and coach John Harbaugh. This has raised questions about the quarterback's future with the team.

Amid these reports, Colin Cowherd came forward to name two teams that could potentially look to acquire the two-time NFL MVP via a trade.

"Baltimore, arguably, the best owner in the game," Cowherd said on his show on Thursday. "Great owner, great coach, greatt equity, great fans, unbelievable brand. I could absolutely see them taking a phone call from the Raiders or the Dolphins, absolutely. "I've always had a rule. There are about six quarterbacks in the league, and I know I say this too often, I would not even pick up the phone, no matter the offer. ... Lamar, to me, was always in the group. Now, he's transitioned."

John Harbaugh has already addressed these reports about a growing rift between him and Lamar Jackson. He refuted these claims and stated that their relationship is "A plus." This season, the quarterback has tallied 2,311 yards and 18 TDs passing in 12 appearances.
