The term "generational talent" has been used very loosely in the NBA, but not in Victor Wembanyama's case. The San Antonio Spurs star is also the first physical specimen since LeBron James, in the truest sense. However, for Emmanuel Acho, Wemby had surpassed the Lakers star in physical endowment.

During the latest episode of the "Speakeasy" podcast on Wednesday, Acho and the crew discussed Kendrick Perkins' bold take that the future GOAT debate will involve Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Wembanyama, and the highest ceiling for the Spurs star.

"I think Wembanyama is probably more physically talented than Bron," Achol said. "Because 7'5" you can't coach [that]. And now you got a handle, you can't coach that. The wingspan, you can't coach that."

However, the former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker added a caveat in judging Webanyama's ceiling based just on physical attributes and unprecedented talent.

"Y'all realize the best ability is availability. Bron doesn't become Bron exclusively cuz he's talented. Bron becomes Bron because he stays healthy enough to go to nine consecutive finals. ...MJ becomes MJ not just because he was incredibly physically talented. MJ became MJ because he was a killer [in his mind]." "It's not just about the talent. We've seen talented players. It's can he sustain it?" Acho added. (Timestamp 3:37)

In his rookie season, Victor Wembanyama played 71 games, averaging just under 30 minutes. In his second season, he played only 46 games before being shut down for the season with deep vein thrombosis. In Wemby's defense, he is hasn't yet shown vulnerability to constant injuries.

Rachel Nichols admits she "undershoot" Victor Wembanyama

In the first four games of his third season, Victor Wembanyama is averaging 31.0 points, 13.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 4.8 blocks per game as the Spurs remain undefeated. With Wembanyama toying with the opponent players, Rachel Nichols admitted to underestimating Wembanyama even after predicting his place in the top-10 all-time.

“Before he was drafted, I said he was going to be a top-10 player of all-time. I think after watching these first few games, did I undershoot it? Is he going to be a top-5 player of all-time?” Nichols said on the Sports Illustrated show on Tuesday.

For the fans who have watched Victor Wembanyama since his rookie year, it is hard to deny that he is a different player than his first two years in the league. It's not just his game that has seen an improvement; his approach has also seen a change.
