A WWE Hall of Famer just made his last iconic appearance. Fans have now reacted to this appearance.
Sting is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He first gained traction due to his time in WCW. After WCW shut its doors, the Icon joined TNA Wrestling, where he competed for several years. Following his run in TNA, Sting joined WWE, where he had a very disastrous run. However, he finally signed with AEW in 2020. His run in AEW was very memorable. He formed a successful tag team with Darby Allin. They competed in several matches for the company. The Icon even embarked on a farewell tour that culminated in his final match at Revolution 2024, where he won the World Tag Team Titles.
Even though he retired from in-ring competition, Sting continued to make public appearances with his iconic face point. Earlier this year, he kickstarted his 2025 or Never tour, which has finally come to an end. This means that the wrestling legend has officially retired his iconic face paint. When he makes future appearances, it will be without his face paint.

Despite retiring from the ring, Sting has made appearances on AEW TV a few times to help his friend Darby Allin. His most recent appearance was during Darby and Jon Moxley's I Quit Match. It looks like he will continue to make appearances for Tony Khan's company.
During an interview with Denise Salcedo after his final appearance in face paint, The Icon opened up on his farewell from meet and greets. He also teased making more AEW appearances in the future.
“I’ll be glad to get off the airplanes and trains and automobiles, but I will miss the people for sure, absolutely. Not just the roar of the crowd wrestling, but these meet and greets, the one-on-ones, and the story time telling. It’s amazing to hear everything that fans have to say. They’re just so appreciative and grateful, and so am I. I just want to say thank you. I love you, all of you. I do believe that we’ve had a love affair going on for many decades now, and I will miss all of you for sure. There’ll be little bits and pieces with AEW I’m sure down the road.” [H/T WrestlePurists]It remains to be seen what's next for the WWE Hall of Famer.
