Finn Balor to be replaced within The Judgment Day by another Irish Superstar? Possibility explored

Finn Balor's days as a member of The Judgment Day may be numbered. The heel faction has been hanging on by a thread lately, as tension among the members continues to grow with each passing week. Last week on RAW, the stable suffered a massive setback, as Balor and JD McDonagh lost the World Tag Team Championship to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

As the group attempts to regain its footing, a shocking turn of events may unfold, as The Prince could be replaced by another Irish star. The name in question is Sheamus, who has been embroiled in a rivalry with Balor and McDonagh.

On last week's episode of the red brand, Sheamus eliminated both Balor and McDonagh from the Battle Royal to determine CM Punk's opponent for the vacant World Heavyweight Title at Saturday Night's Main Event XLI.

However, the Judgment Day members then helped Kofi Kingston to throw The Celtic Warrior over the top rope, thus costing him the bout. This week's edition of RAW saw Sheamus go one-on-one against JD McDonagh. In the end, The Irish Ace emerged victorious after Balor hit The Celtic Warrior with the shillelagh.

In an X post, the 47-year-old gave credit to McDonagh for his win, but stated that Balor had started a "civil war." Dominik Mysterio could take advantage of this situation by recruiting Sheamus into The Judgment Day and kicking Finn Balor out.

Balor and Mysterio have not been getting along recently. The former WWE Universal Champion has withdrawn his support from "Dirty" Dom, leaving him alone to fight his battles. The self-proclaimed King of Luchadors has befriended Los Americanos, who have been doing his dirty work.

Mysterio could now make a major move by plotting to kick Finn Balor out of the group. Replacing Balor with the 47-year-old would be the ultimate play by the young star to win the ongoing power struggle within the faction.

That said, this scenario is only speculative, and nothing has been confirmed.

Finn Balor teases bringing back The Demon persona

WWE recently released the poster for WrestleMania 42, in which Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, and Triple H are featured. Interestingly, Finn Balor used the poster to tease bringing back his iconic Demon persona.

The Irish star edited the WrestleMania 42 poster to include a photo of Demonito, his puppet inspired by The Demon persona, possibly suggesting that he could bring it back at the Show of Shows next year.

We last saw The Demon in action at WrestleMania 39, where he lost to Edge in a Hell in a Cell Match. That said, nothing has been confirmed as of now. It will be interesting to see when and if Finn Balor revives his sinister persona.
