She compiled an unbeaten 127 off 134 balls as India chased down a record target of 339 to set up a clash with South Africa in the World Cup final.

Australia batted first after winning in the toss in the semifinal. They posted 338 in 49.5 overs as Phoebe Litchfield top-scored with 119 off 93, while Ellyse Perry contributed 77 off 88. After India lost both openers early in the chase, it seemed like the same old story for them. Jemimah, however, added 167 with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (89) as the Women in Blue ended up creating history.
