Finn Balor shares new name following RAW

Finn Balor shared a new nickname following this week's episode of WWE RAW. The veteran is currently a member of The Judgment Day on the red brand.

The 44-year-old hasn't competed in a match since he was eliminated in the Last Time is Now tournament by Penta. Gunther went on to win the tournament and submitted John Cena in his retirement match earlier this month at Saturday Night's Main Event.

The inaugural Universal Champion took to Instagram today to reveal a new nickname for himself. Finn Balor shared a new holiday name, along with a photo of himself in front of a giant Christmas tree at the promotion's headquarters. You can check out the image in the Instagram post below.

"Christmas Finn," he wrote.

The Judgment Day's Liv Morgan returned last month at WWE Survivor Series and helped Dominik Mysterio defeat John Cena to become Intercontinental Champion. Balor and JD McDonagh held the World Tag Team Championships earlier this year but lost the titles to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee on the October 20 edition of RAW.

Finn Balor provides positive update on popular WWE star

RAW star Finn Balor shared a positive update about JD McDonagh following his recent injury.

The Irish Ace missed several months earlier this year after suffering a punctured lung and broken ribs during a match against The War Raiders. McDonagh went for a Moonsault onto Ivar outside the ring, and it did not go as planned. He overshot the move and slammed into the announce table next to the ring.

He has also recently suffered a hand injury and has undergone surgery. Balor provided an update on his stablemate's status and noted that McDonagh was in good spirits. The former champion also noted that McDonagh would make a full recovery following the setback.

“I just got home this very second from checking on my dear friend @jd_mcdonagh & I can confirm that he is in good spirits & will make a full recovery 👍,” he wrote.

Dominik Mysterio pinned Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way match at WWE WrestleMania 41 to capture the Intercontinental Championship for the first time. It will be fascinating to see what WWE has planned for The Judgment Day in the weeks ahead.
