A female WWE Superstar has made it known that she wants to face John Cena in his final match. The Cenation Leader will be competing in his final bout at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.
John Cena's final opponent will be determined in a tournament in the coming weeks. Earlier this week, Chelsea Green threw her name into the hat and suggested that she should be Cena's last opponent. She doubled down on the challenge today on social media, and you can check out her message in the post below.

Bill Apter wants to see an absent WWE star face John Cena in his last match
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently suggested that Gunther should be John Cena's final opponent in WWE.
The Ring General has been absent since his loss to CM Punk earlier this year at SummerSlam 2025. Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Apter stated that Gunther being Cena's final match would be a great selection.
"We don't know who his opponent is going to be yet. A lot of people are speculating it's going to be Brock Lesnar, and that Cena is going to get the win over Lesnar to get even. But I don't think that's going to happen. What I would like to see happen, there's another guy I want to see come back and be Cena's final opponent. That would be Gunther. I think that would be a great final match," Apter said.Gunther is the perfect man to retire John Cena. A supervillain conquering the ultimate babyface with tears from the crowd sounds like magic.
John Cena turned heel earlier this year to ensure that he would defeat Cody Rhodes to become Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 41. However, he turned babyface before losing the title back to The American Nightmare at SummerSlam 2025. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for Cena's last match next month.
