After a nightmare kicking season, the Atlanta Falcons aren't messing around.
Only an hour after the NFL's free agency negotiating window opened on Monday, the Falcons had reached an agreement to sign their new kicker.
The deal, reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, is a two-year pact with kicker Nick Folk, formerly of the New York Jets.
Folk made 28-of-29 field goals in 2025, and all of his extra points.
The Falcons, meanwhile, were going through kicking nightmares left and right, starting with their release of Younghoe Koo early in the season and never really ending.
Folk should provide some stability for Kevin Stefanski, the new head coach.

Folk is now 41 years old and will turn 42 in November.
He has aged like fine wine, though.
He entered the NFL all the way back in 2007 as a sixth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys out of the University of Arizona.
He then grew into a player who has made the Pro Bowl and overall kicked in 258 NFL games.
Folk is the active leader in field goals attempted and made. He also has led the NFL in field goal percentage each of the last three seasons.
It's a great get for the Falcons.
