NBA content creator and Chicago native Kenny Beecham began his career by creating play-along NBA 2K content on his YouTube channel. Now, his platform, Enjoy Basketball, has a partnership with NBC Sports.
Enjoy Basketball, the digital media and lifestyle company
Co-founded by Beecham, recently unveiled a partnership with NBC
Sport is bringing its popular basketball podcasts to NBCUniversal’s streaming channels, Peacock, and NBC Sports NOW. This partnership marks the first time NBC Sports has partnered with a creator-led media
company to produce original NBA programming, underscoring the network’s commitment to embracing digital voices shaping the modern basketball conversation.
Fans of Enjoy Basketball can now enjoy 20, three of the top Enjoy Basketball podcasts—including its flagship program Numbers on "The Board," "Small Ball with Kenny Beecham," and "T’d Up with Pierre

Enjoy Basketball
Kenny Beecham
SN: Let's talk about your journey from doing play-along NBA 2K content to now partnering with NBC. Can you describe that journey for us?
Beecham: I made my first video when I was 13 years old. I remember asking my dad for a Dazzle. It was this little device that let you capture gameplay footage from your Xbox 360, and I started making NBA 2K videos just for fun. That’s where I first got comfortable with a
microphone, and I taught myself how to edit and produce along the way.
By high school, I had a YouTube channel with more than 200,000 subscribers. After graduating, I asked three of my best friends, who had zero experience in content, to start a basketball podcast with me. That show became Numbers on the Board, which we like to describe as “your group chat come to life.”
We always closed every episode with, “We got a lot of games tonight. Enjoy the basketball, y’all.” It started as a simple sign-off, but it became something more — a mantra that our community connected with. People in the comments began repeating it back to us, and I realized we might have something special. That phrase turned into a mission and, eventually, into a company. We built something around positivity and community in a space that often leans negative. Our company’s identity really says it all — we’re curating a community of people who genuinely love the game. I like to describe what we’ve built as “friendship packaged as sports.” It’s been
incredibly rewarding to see that idea resonate and carve out its own lane in the market. The buy-in from a network with such a rich history in the NBA like NBC has been a dream come true.
SN: How about partnering with Cody and Cole? How has that been working with them?
Beecham: They’ve really helped unlock the full potential of Enjoy Basketball. I first signed with their management company, Up North, in 2020, and together we co-founded Enjoy Basketball in 2022. What started as a weekly newsletter quickly grew into a full media brand. We now have a podcast network and an apparel line that’s produced NBA-licensed
merchandise in collaboration with Fanatics and Jimmy Butler’s Bigface Coffee.
We all work super closely together and are aligned on our goals. We understand what our audience is looking for and how to feed our community in a way that keeps our vision authentic. We plan to expand our live events, take on bigger collaborations, and integrate with NBC’s sports coverage — from the All-Star Game to the Olympics.
Cody and Cole Hock, Co-Founders of Enjoy Basketball
SN: How about you guys? How has your sports journey evolved over the years, particularly with Enjoy Basketball?
Cody and Cole: When we first came across Kenny’s content on YouTube, we knew right away he was special. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and the comment section confirmed what we already saw. He wasn’t just making basketball videos; he was building a genuine community around positivity and love for the game. From there, we started imagining what it would look like to turn that energy into something
bigger — a company that could bring a more positive, fun, and authentic voice to the basketball world, especially for Gen Z and Millennial fans. We recognized a real white space for content centered on community and thoughtful analysis, without the hot takes or negativity that
dominate so much of sports media.
That it caught the eye of NBC is really reaffirming. Kenny is the perfect complement to their roster of Hall of Fame talent because he brings in the ability to connect with the new generation of fans — the audience that represents the future of NBA coverage.
SN: How about partnering with NBC? How did that come to fruition, and what heights do you hope to reach?
Cody and Cole: This partnership is a landmark moment, as it's the first time NBC Sports has officially teamed up with a creator-led media company for original NBA programming. It came about after many
conversations with NBC, who share a similar ethos to us - to uplift and celebrate the game, and they understood the vision we have and the unique content we’re building out and Kenny’s unmatched ability to connect with younger, digitally-native fans. We hope to leverage this huge platform to bring the Enjoy Basketball ethos—conversation, community, and creativity—to a broader stage than ever before. It validates our creator-led approach to sports media.
SN: How has the sports media landscape changed over time?
Cody and Cole: The landscape has completely shifted because the younger audience is chronically online, and the game now extends far broader than just the broadcast. It’s highlights; it’s the wives and girlfriends of players; it’s more authentic voices who speak directly to them. We believe legacy
networks like NBC now understand they must show up on all platforms and communicate in the right tone to engage this generation, which is exactly what our partnership is designed to do.
Pierre Andresen
SN: Talk to us a little bit about your journey and being on the flagship NOTB program.
Andresen: I'm grateful for the journey over the last 8 years - working with my best friends to create something special that resonates with hoop fans, and that's allowed me to create my own show "T'd Up with Pierre Andresen." I’m incredibly thankful for the entire team and the amazing support from the T'd Up community and Enjoy Basketball supporters. It's a remarkable feeling to wake up and see that love in real-time on social media. The hard work of everyone involved put us in a position to make a huge move like this NBC partnership.
SN: You have a podcast that will be on the Enjoy Basketball hour. Can you talk a bit about that?
Andresen: My podcast, T'd Up, is officially moving its air date from Thursday to Wednesday as part of the new Enjoy Basketball Hour. The first hour of the show will air on NBC Sports NOW. The channel
is available on Peacock, the NBC Sports app, and more. The podcast will be offered on demand on Peacock and will appear in full on YouTube after the live broadcast. I’m really excited about the new slot, it means I get to jump right in and break down everything that happens earlier in the week. Whatever big news breaks after the Tuesday "Numbers on the Board" podcast, we no longer have to wait days to react—I get to cover it all on Wednesday.
SN: What are your goals for the future?
Andresen: The biggest goal right now is successfully taking on the new work and opportunity that comes with joining the NBC family. I believe this is a moment for the entire community—our day-one
supporters—to celebrate our collective progress. I'm just excited to start this new chapter and continue delivering great content on the new platform.
