A.J. Brown made his feelings known during the 2025 NFL season in a variety of ways.
That included on his X (formerly Twitter) account, as he wasn't shy about making some cryptic posts as things didn't go as well as he wanted with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now, he could be just a day or so from being traded to the New England Patriots. Once June 1 arrives, it's a better cap setup for the Eagles to trade Brown away.
The only links of late have been to the Pats, so it certainly seems if something is going to happen, it will be with New England.
But before anything happens, Brown has made a move of his own.
This weekend, Brown deactivated his X account:
In an very fitting last act before June 1st, AJ Brown has deactivated his twitter.#Eagles

A few folks are noting that it seems to have been this way for a while. There isn't a great way to go back and see a deactivation date.
It is clear that Brown no longer has his account live as of Sunday, May 31.
Is he trying to avoid sharing any unnecessary posts soon after a trade? Does he want fans not to be able to go back and look at his history on the social media app?
Whatever the reason, it's clear that Brown is hoping to keep his focus forward rather than on his social media. Maybe that's a good move just to avoid some early drama in a new place.
