Dynamite Kiss wrapped up its run with the release of its final two episodes on December 24 and 25, 2025. The South Korean romantic comedy was helmed by director Kim Jae-hyun, with the script penned by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min. Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin headline the series.

The drama centers on Ko Da-rim, who adopts the façade of a single mother to manage the complexities of her daily life, and Kong Ji-hyeok, a strict and detail-oriented team leader. What begins as a purely professional association shifts dramatically after an impulsive kiss, setting off a series of misunderstandings.

As Da-rim becomes part of Ji-hyeok’s team, the two navigate office tensions, personal struggles, and emotions that gradually grow deeper. Towards the ending of the final episode, after solving their corporate conflicts, Ji-hyeok loses his memories following the car accident and is diagnosed with amnesia.

He forgets everything about his relationship with Da-rim. He later regains those memories after an accidental kiss with Da-rim at the Jeju banquet, which leads to their reunion.

Dynamite Kiss episodes 13–14 recap: Resolve of orporate betrayal, amnesia and a full circle romance

Episode 13 begins by rewinding the timeline to a few days before the ending of episode 12. At Da-rim’s home, she tests the baby carrier developed by her team while Ji-hyeok helps with household chores. He later confesses his love to Da-rim in front of both their mothers and expresses his wish to marry her. Ji-hyeok’s mother reacts with happiness, while Da-rim’s mother is taken aback and avoids giving a direct response, suggesting dinner instead. Da-rim reassures Ji-hyeok that her mother likes him and that they can talk about it later.

The narrative then returns to the present, where the TF team learns that a rival company has already released their product. Ji-hyeok’s father storms into the office and publicly slaps Da-rim, accusing her of leaking confidential information. Ji-hyeok immediately defends her, but his father claims Ji-hyeok knowingly kept Da-rim employed despite her lying on her resume about being a mother. He warns that this could cost Ji-hyeok the vice president position. Ji-hyeok dismisses the threat and asks his father to stop falsely accusing Da-rim. The situation escalates when Ji-hye claims Da-rim seduced Ji-hyeok and influenced him. Ji-hyeok angrily rebukes his sister for the accusation.

An internal investigation follows. Although Ji-hyeok insists on leading it, the company auditor pressures Da-rim with evidence of an email sent from her account to the rival company. Da-rim denies leaking any information. However, Ji-hye convinces her that if she does not take responsibility, Ji-hyeok could lose his position, the TF team could be dissolved, and everyone could lose their jobs. To protect Ji-hyeok and the team, Da-rim falsely confesses to being the sole person responsible for the leak.

Ji-hyeok confronts Da-rim, questioning why she is sacrificing herself. She insists on ending their relationship and tells him they should never meet again. Later, Da-rim confesses everything to her mother, who decides they should move to the outskirts of the city to live with relatives.

Ji-hyeok continues investigating and uncovers that Ji-hye’s PA sent the email using Da-rim’s account and delivered product details to the rival company. He also learns that the same delivery person, hired by Ji-hye and Yoo Tae-yeong, was responsible for setting fire to the Natural Baby exhibition. Ji-hyeok travels to the outskirts and explains the full truth to Da-rim, revealing that the entire situation was orchestrated to remove him from the company and that she was collateral damage. After discussing their next steps, Ji-hyeok returns to Seoul, promising to come back for her. Da-rim’s mother gives them her blessing.

At the company, shareholders gather to vote on the next vice president. Ji-hye attempts to expose Da-rim and claims Ji-hyeok favored her despite knowing she lied. However, the shareholders are shaken when Ji-hyeok presents evidence proving Ji-hye and Yoo Tae-yeong orchestrated both the product leak and the exhibition fire. Ji-hyeok also reveals that his father illegally took control of the company while confining his mother in an asylum. Ji-hyeok’s mother enters the meeting, confirms the court ruling invalidating all decisions made during her confinement, and requests time to resume her role as the rightful owner.

After resolving the company crisis, Ji-hyeok rushes to reunite with Da-rim. On the way, he buys flowers but is struck by a car driven by Ji-hye. He is hospitalized and remains unconscious for days. Da-rim stays by his side and cares for him continuously. When Ji-hyeok awakens, he suffers from amnesia and remembers only the period before meeting Da-rim in Jeju. He does not recognize her and later decides it is best for them to part ways, believing he must return to the person he was before meeting her. Heartbroken, Da-rim respects his decision.

Meanwhile, Ha-yeong prepares to return to the USA after Seon-u asks her to stay away from him and his son. On the day of her departure, Seon-u calls her in panic after losing his son. Ha-yeong finds the child at a playground and brings him home. Seon-u later finds her injured while sleeping beside his son and tends to her wounds, thanking her for protecting him.

Struggling financially, Da-rim sells her house, which Ji-hyeok’s mother buys to repay the kindness Da-rim’s mother once showed her. Ji-hyeok’s mother then encourages Da-rim to start her own company and becomes the first investor in Dream and Baby. One year later, Ji-hyeok continues to suffer from fragmented memories and headaches but still cannot remember Da-rim. Da-rim successfully builds Dream and Baby under Natural Baby’s support.

After learning her missing sister is in Jeju, Da-rim travels there carrying the dress Ji-hyeok bought her during their first pretend engagement. She wears the dress to enter a banquet and unexpectedly meets Ji-hyeok. Seeing her in the dress triggers fragmented memories of their first party, dance, and kiss. As Da-rim attempts to leave, she accidentally falls into him, and they kiss. The kiss restores Ji-hyeok’s memory completely. Remembering everything, he asks Da-rim for a second kiss, just as he did the first time.

They return to Seoul, reunite, and begin living together. Ji-hyeok later proposes to Da-rim. The series then jumps several years forward, showing Da-rim as the CEO of Dream and Baby, working alongside Ji-hyeok and the former TF team. In the final scene, the couple watches their two children dance happily while sharing lighthearted banter before kissing. The series concludes with the full cast dancing as the credits roll, bringing Dynamite Kiss to a warm and celebratory close.
