Luka Doncic is one of the most popular NBA players today. Even on the road, he is often greeted by fans who want him to sign autographs or pose with him for photos. Doncic has been known to regularly oblige them.
On Monday, Doncic and the LA Lakers were in Charlotte for a game against the Hornets. Before the showdown, Klay Thompson’s father, Mychal Thompson, shared a clip of the Slovenian engaging his fans, who lined up outside a hotel.

Luka Doncic leads Lakers to win over Charlotte Hornets on Monday
Luka Doncic’s sizzling start to the 2025-26 season resumed on Monday in Charlotte. After a subpar night by his standards in Atlanta on Saturday, Luka Legend was back to his best against the Hornets.
The superstar point guard dropped 38 points with seven assists, six rebounds and one steal in 38 minutes. He had 17 points and four assists in the second half, which the Lakers dominated 56-48. Doncic’s MVP-level play pushed his team to a 121-111 win.
LA also got superb contributions from Marcus Smart and Austin Reaves, who combined for 37 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds. Reaves did not shoot well from deep, going just 2-for-10, but his presence opened up the floor for Doncic.
The Lakers’ five-game road trip will continue on Wednesday when Luka Doncic and Co. visit the OKC Thunder.
