Simone Biles' husband, and NFL safety player for the Chicago Bears, Jonathan Owens, recently stepped up for the community with a noble move. The safety player joined a massive distribution in Chicago with the intention of creating a positive impact.

After the recent victory against the New York Giants, Owens decided to join a charitable cause ahead of Thanksgiving Day. The official Instagram page of the Chicago Bears shared a reel of Owens announcing his move on their Instagram story.

In the short reel, Owens described the campaign as he mentioned,

"So, today I partnered up with BBF and the K.W.D.E. foundation and we provided 750 turkeys and non-persihables for the [needy] families on the west side of Chicago. We were stopping the cars in the street, we were stopping the buses. Feels amazing, just to see the impact that you can make on the community. Just, like, you can see the smiles that you can put on the faces of the families and just know that you're taking a little bit off to them this holiday."

Simone Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens, recently contributed to the Chicago Bears' hard-fought victory against the New York Giants by 24-20. The Chicago Bears would compete against the Minnesota Vikings on November 16.

Simone Biles previously spoke about how her eventual return to the Olympics would depend on her family and on her husband, Jonathan Owens. The 28-year-old mentioned in a conversation with the Sports Illustrated magazine in early 2025 as she stated,

"What sacrifices would be made if I go back now? When you’re younger, it’s like, prom, college. Now it’s like, starting a family, being away from my husband. What’s really worth it?” (via Sports Illustrated)

Simone Biles was referring to the prospects of starting a family with Owens, who had turned up at Paris to support the gymnast during the quadrennial event last year. Owens was accompanied by Biles' adopted parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles.

Simone Biles has neither confirmed nor denied participating in the Los Angeles Olympics scheduled to be held in 2028. The multiple Olympic medalist would be 31 years old by that time and become one of the oldest American female gymnasts to participate in a gymnastics event at the Olympics since Marian Barone, who was 28 years old when she participated at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics.
