Team India star batter Rohit Sharma appeared in a jovial mood as he danced to the iconic Bollywood track 'Aaj mere yaar ki shaadi hai' after spotting a wedding shoot where the song was being played. A video of the same has surfaced on X as Rohit shook a leg while standing near his house window.

While the right-handed batter has had stories of scolding players on the field, he has also shown his jovial side plenty of times. The veteran has established himself as one of India's most influential white-ball captains, propelling them to T20 World Cup victory last year and the Champions Trophy win earlier this year.

The Nagpur-born cricketer was in action for India during the ODI series against Australia, earning the Player of the series award for aggregating 202 runs in three innings, averaging a mighty 101. He struggled in the first ODI in Perth, managing only eight runs but found form in the second game, scoring 73.

The 38-year-old hit top gear in the third and final ODI in Sydney, hammering an unbeaten 121 as the Men in Blue won by nine wickets to avoid a series whitewash. He will next feature in the ODI series against South Africa, beginning on November 30.

The focus will also be on the retention deadline of IPL 2026 as the full list of retained players of all ten franchises is set to be unveiled on November 15. As far as Mumbai Indians go, they are likely to retain Rohit along with captain Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah.

The explosive opener had a fruitful 2025 edition, mustering 418 runs in 25 games at 29.85 with a strike rate of 149.28. Mumbai Indians showed marked improvement from 2024, when they finished at the bottom of the points table, having made it to the playoffs. But a title has eluded them since they last won their fifth in 2020.
