WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has received an offer to join another wrestling promotion following Saturday Night's Main Event. The 40-year-old suffered another major loss at the show. Wrestling veteran Vince Russo made the offer on social media.
The Scottish Warrior unsuccessfully challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. McIntyre's booking has been questionable for a while, as it was his fifth failed attempt at winning a world title since he lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Damian Priest at WrestleMania XL.
Earlier today, WWE head writer Vince Russo sent a sarcastic message to Drew McIntyre. In a recent X/Twitter post, the 64-year-old noted that he would love to speak with the former World Heavyweight Champion about the prospects of joining Juggalo Championship Wrestling after his contract with the Stamford-based promotion expires. Russo mocked McIntyre's booking in WWE and assured it would be better in JCW.

For those not aware, Juggalo Championship Wrestling was founded by Insane Clown Posse in 1999. Vince Russo was recently announced as an investor in the Detroit-based promotion.
Drew McIntyre claimed he was about to go to NJPW before his WWE return
Drew McIntyre returned to WWE in 2017, three years after his release. The former 3MB member's journey back to the global juggernaut saw him reinvent himself on the independent circuit, followed by a dominant run in TNA Wrestling.
While speaking on the No Contest wrestling podcast, McIntyre revealed that he was in talks to go to Japan in 2017. He added that wrestling legend William Regal told him to speak with Triple H. McIntyre noted that during his conversation with The Game, he instantly realized it was the right time for his WWE return.
"Then in 2017, before I returned to WWE, I was ready to go to New Japan at that point—that's where my head was at. I spoke to the right people to start having serious conversations, and Regal told me, you gotta talk to Hunter first, gotta talk to Paul first. And one minute into that conversation, I knew it was time to come back," McIntyre said.Drew McIntyre has been chasing titles in 2025 without any success. It remains to be seen what's next for the SmackDown star following the loss at Saturday Night's Main Event.
