Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani hit a baseball further than anyone ever has in Toronto

Shohei Ohtani doesn't often take batting practice on the field.

When he does, though, the Los Angeles Dodgers' superstar amazes people just as frequently as he does in any of his other baseball behaviors.

On Thursday, the Dodgers' off day before Game 6 of the World Series, Ohtani stepped into the batting cage to launch some baseballs at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

And yeah, he launched this one.

The second ball Ohtani hits in this video is genuinely absurd

That baseball is in the top deck. No one has ever hit one there in a game.

It seems unlikely anyone has ever hit one there in batting practice, either, even a great lefty hitter like a Carlos Delgado.

The fact that Ohtani is an ace pitcher who can also do that is just incredibly unfair. He got all the best genes, and everyone else is just left to deal with the fact that they know Ohtani is better.

The Dodgers will need Ohtani to be that good on Friday night. They trail 3-2 in the series and will have to rattle off consecutive victories to defend their World Series title.

If Ohtani hits a ball up there during a game, L.A. might just pull it off.
